Dutch Reformed Church, Matara.
Although I have read many deeper things in the Bible, I have learned better things in this training program. I felt guilty because I have failed to do my duty towards my children. If we could build up our children according to what we learned here we need not worry about this wicked world. I am thankful to you for this ministry. You have very successfully chosen the important truths and taught them in a very simple way. It is very precious in the sight of God. Praise God.
2. Pastor. A.S. Jayawardene,
Assembly of God Church, Ragama.
I would like to mention the blessings that I got from this training program. I have two children. I did many things in order to teach them obedience. I have punished them severely. But I was failed. . Therefore I was troubled. But after I learned many things in this workshop, I accepted that it is not the fault of my children, but as parents it is our fault. I thank God for giving a clear vision about this through this training program.
3. Pastor. Suranga Silva,
House of Prayer Church, Kandana.
I felt as if the hidden truths concerning building up positive children in this negative world were brought out and given to me in this training program. Although I understood that the children are a heritage of the Lord, I did not have much knowledge about bringing up children in wisdom, stature, favor of man and grace of God. I learned how to bring up a child in these aspects as a parent. I made a decision to give more time to children than other work. Now I have a desire to teach these to other parents.
4. Mrs. Chrishanthi Fernando,
Drug addicts rehabilitation Camp, Bandaragama.
I am helping my husband’s ministry of rehabilitating drug addicts and doing my ministry among wives, children and mothers of drug addicts. This training has helped me to teach these mothers the reason why their children are in this condition and make their lives successful in the future. It has helped me to find many of my faults and today the Lord has given me grace to put my life right. I was praying for this training program. I praise God for He has done a great change in my life through this program.
5. Mrs. Prema Dickson,
Covenant Life Church, Katugastota.
All the teachings of “Walk Thru the Bible” ministries are valuable and meet our spiritual needs and specially this training program was a great blessing. Many children in my church are going astray and this training program helped me to learn many things. I can teach and work among these children based on these teachings. I was not careful in money matters. My husband is managing with great difficulties. I learned in the training program as to how to handle money matters wisely.
6. Pastor and Mrs. R. Ahileswaran
International Revival Missionary Church, Jaffna.
We are so happy to attend this training program because we learned here how to bring up our children in the positive way. We learned many things which we did not know earlier. We have made many mistakes in bringing up our children. We found that while we were learning in this training program we were able to correct ourselves. We will be teaching these to the parents in our church and want to bring a change in their lives.
7. Pastor. F. Rayman,
Apostolic Church, Vavuniya.
This teaching is very useful for practical day to day life and helped to receive warning about how to handle money. It teaches us the way to bring up children. This became a turning point in my life.
Held in 2007, Colombo, Kandy & Vavuniya.
